Solar power generation
why start?

You build a plant on land or a rooftop that is sitting idle and sell the electricity to Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), so it earns every month. An individual or a company can own one, and it becomes a real asset that produces a steady fixed income.

Idle land turned into monthly income

Woodland, farmland or rooftop space you were leaving alone becomes a solid asset that brings in steady income every month.

Income settled every month

Payment for the power you sell lands in the account you name every month, and you can check today's output in the Generzone app.

An asset that keeps going past 20 years

It is a lasting asset in the owner's own name, generating steadily for more than 20 years after it is completed and holding its value.

What is different
about E&I solution?

We are plant owners too

Of the plants we have built since 2017, eight belong to the company, and we operate and manage 24. What to look for when choosing a site, and where output leaks away after commissioning, we met first on our own plants.

We build it ourselves

We are a registered electrical construction business, so design through construction is our own work. We have commissioned more than 30 plants since 2017. If a site does not add up, we tell you so at the assessment stage.

We do not stop at handover

You watch output and alerts yourself in the Generzone app, and we go out for the inspections. When an alert comes in we narrow down the cause before going to site, and defects within the warranty period cost you nothing.

Step by step

  1. Planning

We look at what the site needs for permits, how much spare capacity the grid line has and whether the numbers work, then visit the site to settle on the right capacity.

  2. Permitting

We move the local generation licence and the development permit along quickly, and handle the business registration and the power supply contract application with Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO).

  3. Breaking ground

Once the construction plan is filed and supervision is in place, we build to standard practice in order: groundwork, structures, then electrical equipment.

  4. Commissioning

We pass the pre-use inspection by the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation, finish the connection to the KEPCO grid, and formally file the start of operations.

  5. Generation starts

We sign the final contracts with KEPCO and the Korea Power Exchange and generation begins, with payment for each month's output settled into the account you name.

  6. Certification and upkeep

The Korea Energy Agency certifies the installation under the renewable portfolio standard so it can be issued renewable energy certificates, which add to what it earns, and you follow output live in the Generzone app.

Paperwork and timings differ by site and by local authority. A specialist will walk you through the detail.
