Industrial-complex solar

Use the unused roof space of a company in an industrial complex to generate power and secure steady monthly income from selling it. E&I solution takes the whole job: the structural safety survey of the roof, local permitting, the construction itself, and operation and maintenance afterwards.

What is rooftop generation in an industrial complex?

A plant is built on the unused area of a factory roof inside an industrial complex, and all of the power it makes is sold to Korea Electric Power Corporation and the electricity market for fixed income every month. Ownership of the plant and the income from it belong entirely to the company in the complex, and E&I solution takes the whole job turnkey, from the permitting through design, construction and operation afterwards. The electricity is not used in the factory. All of it is sold, and that is what turns the roof into cash flow.

No land to buy

The factory roof you already have is the site, so there is no land purchase to fund and the project can start now.

Cash settled every month

Payment for the power sold lands in the account you name every month, and the plant stays on the books as a real asset of the company.

Five points better on policy loans for smaller companies

On a Korea Energy Agency renewable energy policy loan you get a loan ratio five percentage points above the standard one.

If any of these is you,
rooftop solar in the complex is the answer

Why E&I solution?

Safety before construction, with a thorough roof survey

We do not just look at the area and the orientation. We examine the structure of the roof, how sound it is and how much life it has left. If repairing the roof should come first, we say so plainly rather than loading equipment onto it.

No production lost, with our own crews on site

We plan the work around your production schedule so the factory keeps running. As a registered electrical construction business we take on the whole run ourselves, from design and materials through construction to the grid connection permits.

We run plants ourselves, and we stay afterwards

Of the plants we have built since 2017, eight belong to the company, and we operate and manage 24. After handover you can check generation and fault alerts every day in the Generzone app, and E&I solution comes out for the scheduled inspections.

Step by step

  1. Feasibility

We work through the expected output, the monthly income from selling the power, and how long it takes to get the investment back.

  2. Roof structure and safety survey

We look past the installable area at the load the factory roof carries and how much life it has left, and where repair should come first we say so, for safety.

  3. Permits and funding terms for the complex

We handle the generation licence and the rest of the administration, and make sure you get the loan ratio five percentage points above standard that smaller companies can have.

  4. Building around production

We work to your operating schedule so the production line does not stop, and complete everything from installing the modules to the grid line connection safely.

  5. Pre-use inspection and ongoing care

Generation starts formally once the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation inspection is passed, and you can check output and equipment status every day in the Generzone app.

The capacity that can actually be installed depends on the structural safety of the factory roof and the spare capacity on the grid line.
After a site survey we set out the exact figure in a detailed assessment.

A roof drawing is enough. We will work out the right capacity and what it earns.

Share the factory location and the roof area, or a drawing, and we will quickly work out the capacity that fits and the monthly payment to expect. A specialist engineer will look it over first, with no obligation.
